PURISMA

In the past, they considered the upper lid blepharoplasty to be in the domain of a surgeon, and that we can only slightly help in lifting the eyelids with Botox. Plasma based energy device developed to treat this delicate area safely and perfectly where lasers and radio surgical units cannot and without surgery side effects.

The technology of plasma is also used in many other treatments, eg. acne; scars or removal of fibromas, warts, birthmarks. Positive effects can also be observed using plasma on the wrinkles on the neck.

An electrical energy is generated from the plasma pen, it ionizes the oxygen and nitrogen in the atmospheric air between the device and the skin (at distance less than 1mm) this create a micro-electrical discharge (small electrical arc or PLASMA)

When this arc (plasma) hits the skin a temperature rise in a specific part of the skin and with high energy density to stimulate instant skin contraction and tightening thereby removing tissue without cutting or excision.

Plasma (Blepharoplasma) is a safe procedure. Swelling can last up to 6 days. Carbon crusts or tiny superficial dots form directly on the treated area. With the proper after care, it will fall off within 7-10 days.

Temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Redness may appear immediately after the treatment and can last 2-7 days depending on the intensity of the treatment.
